ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - CBC defeated Chaminade 64-7 Friday night to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Last Friday, the Cadets won their home-opener against Cardinal Ritter by a score of 34-12.
In their 2024 meeting, CBC defeated Chaminade 48-7, and have averaged over 51 points over the previous five meetings between the two sides.
And the Cadets seemed to have no issues continuing their dominance in 2025.
GAME RECAP
The scoring started early for CBC after quarterback Nick McClellan rushed for roughly 40 yards into the endzone. CBC converted on their two-point conversion to make it 8-0 after just one drive.

With around seven minutes left in the first quarter, McClellan took a short run into the endzone again to extend the lead to 15-0.
A few minutes later, McClellan added to the advantage by using his arm. The senior quarterback completed a short pass into the corner of the endzone to wide receiver Jayden Reed, making the score 22-0.
As Chaminade tried to respond with the quarter winding down, CBC forced a fumble while the Red Devils were nearing the endzone.
To add insult to injury, Cadets receiver Darian Jones took a short pass 68 yards for another touchdown. CBC was now ahead 29-0 with just over a minute left in the quarter.
McClellan and the offense picked up right where they left off in the second quarter. Receiver Vic Williams took a short pass from midfield nearly 60 yards to the endzone, making it 36-0.

And on their next drive, CBC’s Caden Shea powered into the endzone from Chaminade’s seven-yard line to make it 43-0.
Shea added another score for the Cadets later in the quarter, taking a hand-off from near the 25-yard line into the endzone.
At halftime, CBC was ahead 50-0.
The second half started with a scoring drive by Chaminade. The Red Devils were finally able to get on the board, making it 50-7, thanks to a long pass by quarterback Wyn Weiler to receiver Isaac Hudson for about 70 yards.
It didn’t take long for CBC to respond, though.
The Cadets converted for the eighth time in eight offensive drives after running back Jaleel Walker scored from near the five-yard line.
At the end of the third quarter, CBC was ahead 57-7.
In the fourth quarter, Chaminade was able to start one of its drives from deep into CBC territory. But the Red Devils’ efforts were thwarted after an interception by the Cadets’ senior defensive back Richard Mosley.
A few plays later, CBC quarterback Daylen Austin-Harvey took a 63-yard rush to the endzone to make it 64-7, which ended up being the final score.
The Cadets are now 3-0 to start the season, and will take on De Smet Jesuit on September 19.
