ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - CBC defeated SLUH 37-0 to remain undefeated in 2025.

The Cadets grabbed their second straight shutout victory, and gave SLUH their first loss of the season.

GAME RECAP

After trading possession several times, CBC opened up the scoring late in the first quarter with a field goal.

When the second quarter started, CBC forced a turnover on downs. The following drive, the Cadets scored the first touchdown of the game off a pass by Nick McClellan to Jayden Reed.

CBC would soon add to their advantage as McClellan found Darian Jones for a short pass that led to another Cadets touchdown.

After adding two more field goals late in the second quarter, the Cadets took a 23-0 advantage into halftime.

Just seconds into the second half, CBC forced a fumble. Soon after, they capitalized with a touchdown to make it 30-0.

The score wouldn’t change heading into the fourth. But, with just a couple of minutes left in the game, Vic Williams took a short run into the endzone to cap off a dominant night.

CBC won 37-0, adding another year to their win streak against SLUH.

With the win, the Cadets improve to 8-0. CBC will face St. Mary’s South Side next week for the final game of the season.
