ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Battlehawks delivered a truckload of sweatshirts, coats and other apparel to the United Way on Tuesday.
The items will be given to local children and families as part of the annual 100 Neediest Cases campaign.
“These cases of sweatshirts will go to people who need them in the next 12 to 24 hours, so it’s a very quick turnaround,” said Becky White with the United Way of Greater St. Louis.
The Battlehawks are just one of many organizations stepping up to help the United Way during the holiday season.
