Mizzou Athletics to host multiple NCAA postseason events in 2027

COLUMBIA, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The University of Missouri Department of Athletics will host multiple NCAA postseason events in 2027.

Mizzou Athletics will host the 2027 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis and the 2027 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Regional in Columbia at the Gans Creek Country Course.

“We are incredibly excited and honored to be selected as hosts for these marquee NCAA events,” Mizzou Director of Athletics Laird Veatch said. “This is a tremendous opportunity to showcase our student-athletes, our facilities and our incredible university on a national stage. Our commitment to hosting elite competitions aligns with our broader mission to provide a first-class experience for both our student-athletes and fans. We look forward to welcoming competitors from across the country to Columbia and St. Louis in the coming years.”

Mizzou has been the host school for the NCAA Wrestling Championships nine times in St. Louis and twice in Kansas City.

Columbia’s Gans Creek Cross Country Course hosted the Southeastern Conference Championships in 2021 and the NCAA Division I Midwest Regional in 2022. In 2025, the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships will take place at Gans Creek.
