ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The Washington University Women’s Soccer team has claimed their second national title!
The team beat William Smith 3-0 on Sunday to wrap up the season at 23-0-2. This is the first time in program history they have finished the season without a loss.
In the preseason poll, the Bears were ranked No. 2, but in all subsequent polls, they were ranked No. 1.
The Washington University Athletics Program now has 26 national champions.
