ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - Larry Hughes II has left the Saint Louis Men’s Basketball program.

Head Coach Josh Schertz announced on Thursday that the junior guard had left the Billikens’ program.

“We thank Larry for his three seasons with the Billikens,” Schertz said.  “We wish him nothing but the best in his future athletic and academic endeavors.”

During his three seasons with the team, Hughes made 28 starts and played in 65 games. This year, the former CBC standout played in seven games and was averaging 4.7 points per game.

Hughes was one of just three players to stick with SLU after Travis Ford was fired last season.
