St. Louis Cardinals games to air on First Alert 4 & Matrix Midwest Gray Media, the parent company of First Alert 4 and Matrix Midwest, partnered with the Cardinals to air at least 10 games in the 2025 season.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - St. Louis Cardinals games will air on First Alert 4 and Matrix Midwest.

Gray Media, the parent company of First Alert 4 and Matrix Midwest, partnered with the Cardinals to air at least 10 games in the 2025 season. The games will also be broadcast across Gray’s network of stations in Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky and Oklahoma.

The new partnership marks the first time a package of Cardinals baseball games will be televised locally on a free and over-the-air channel as part of a non-national broadcast since 2010.

“We are excited that, for the first time in 15 years, fans can watch our games across Cardinals Nation for free and over-the-air, bringing the Cardinals into more homes than ever before,” said Anuk Karunaratne, Cardinals Sr. Vice President of Business Operations.

The first games that will be aired as part of the new partnership are:

  • Friday, April 11 vs. the Philadelphia Phillies 7:15 C.D.T. on Channel 4 and Matrix Midwest
  • Friday, April 25 vs. the Milwaukee Brewers 7:15 C.D.T. on Matrix Midwest
  • Friday, May 16 vs. the Kansas City Royals 6:40 C.D.T. on Matrix Midwest
  • Friday, May 30 vs. the Texas Rangers 7:05 C.D.T. on KMOV Channel 4 and Matrix Midwest
  • Friday, June 6 vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers 7:15 C.D.T. on KMOV Channel 4 and Matrix Midwest
  • Friday, June 20 vs. the Cincinnati Reds 6:15 C.D.T. on Matrix Midwest

Additional games will be announced at a later date.

The games will also be simulcast with FanDuel Sports Network, the Cardinals’ television rightsholder partner.

Matrix Midwest can be found on over-the-air channel 32 and channel 6 on Spectrum/Charter.
