ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - Former St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina will return to manage team Puerto Rico in next year’s World Baseball Classic.
Molina guided Puerto Rico to the quarterfinals in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
Molina’s former teammate, Albert Pujols, will also be managing in the World Baseball Classic, leading the Dominican Republic.
