ST LOUIS, MO (JULY 8, 2025) – Matrix Midwest and Christian Brothers College High School Athletics (CBC) announced a partnership to stream all home and away games and to broadcast a select number of in-market Friday night games, giving fans the opportunity to experience marquee match-ups for one of the region’s premier high school football programs.
The games selected for live broadcast will be announced later this summer. Fans can look forward to the full season streaming on MatrixMidwest.com, on streaming television through the First Alert 4 mobile app, as well as the soon-to-be-launched Matrix Midwest mobile app. Matrix Midwest is St. Louis’ only free and independent sports and entertainment network, available over-the-air on channel 32 and channel 6 on Spectrum/Charter. This new, joint effort is the first high school programming opportunity and partnership for Matrix Midwest.
“St. Louis viewers have truly embraced Matrix Midwest’s free, over-the-air sports programming, which includes partnerships with the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, St. Louis City SC and Mizzou Athletics,” said J.D. Sosnoff, General Manager of KMOV-TV and Matrix Midwest. “Adding CBC football games to the growing line-up of local sports programming allows us to spotlight the strength of local high school sports in the region.”
The new, joint effort will leverage the production and promotional support from First Alert 4, KMOV-TV and CBC’s Cadet Student Network (CSN).
“We are excited for this innovative partnership with Matrix Midwest and CBC,” said Scott Pingel, CBC Football Coach and Director of Athletics. “The opportunity to showcase CBC football to a wider audience through broadcast television and streaming says a lot about the strength of our program and our student-athletes.”

Under Scott Pingel’s leadership, CBC’s football team has made seven trips to the state championship game over the last 11 seasons, with five titles (2014, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022) and two runner-up appearances in 2015 and 2023.
“Anyone who has cheered on the Cadets at Friday night football games at CBC understands the buzz and excitement around the program – with large crowds coming to watch and support our
student-athletes,” said Scott Brown, CBC Assistant Director of Athletics. “This new media partnership will spotlight the talents of our students at CBC for a new community of television and online viewers who may not be able to make it to the game, but still want to experience the excitement of CBC football in a new way.”
