Jacob Saylors signs with Detroit Lions

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Battlehawks running back Jacob Saylors has signed to the Detroit Lions Tuesday morning.

The standout All-UFL running back finally will earn his shot in the NFL after two successful seasons in the UFL. During his career, Saylors tied for the league with 113 carries and ranked second with 499 rushing yards.

Saylors was also tied for second with 4.4 average rushing yards per carry and five touchdowns. He was ranked 5th in the UFL with 744 all-purpose yards and 5th in scoring.

The Battlehawks will keep Saylors rights in case he returns to the UFL.
