ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - St. Louis CITY SC’s season might be over, but that isn’t stopping the club from giving back in the community.
Members of the soccer team, along with the Energizer Bunny, made a stop Tuesday at the Boys and Girls Club on N. Grand to surprise kids with STEM-related gifts.
While the kids got to work opening up and enjoying their toys, they also got a chance to make some memories the kids and soccer players won’t soon forget.
“When you think about it, it’s not really much that I’m doing, but it means so much more to them, and I think that it’s something that I’ll always try to remember, just like a single moment that I’m giving to them can mean so much,” said CITY SC midfielder Eduard Lowen.
Some of toys given out Tuesday include robotic kids, along with XBOX consoles and more.
