ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The Cardinals are adding to their rotation.
The team announced Wednesday that it signed pitcher Dustin May to a one-year deal with a mutual option for 2027.
May split 2025 between the Red Sox and Dodgers, recording 7 wins in 25 appearances (he started 23 games). May also had a career high in strikeouts with 123 and innings pitched with 132.1.
May has a career record of 19-20 with a 3.86 ERA. He won the World Series with the Dodgers in 2020, coming in fifth in NL Rookie of the Year voting that year.
