COLUMBIA, Mo. (KCTV) - Missouri starting quarterback Beau Pribula is headed to the ACC.

According to several reports, Pribula is transferring to Virginia after one season with Mizzou.

Pribula, who will be a senior in 2026, joins a Cavaliers program that Mizzou played during the Gator Bowl to end the 2025 season. Pribula sat out the game with plans to enter the transfer portal when it opened Jan. 2.

During his lone season at Mizzou, Pribula threw for 1,941 yards, 11 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. He also ran 95 times for 297 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Pribula was limited to 10 games and missed two after dislocating his ankle during an Oct. 25 loss to the Vanderbilt Commodores.

With the move to Virginia, the former Penn State quarterback will now play against his former Nittany Lions head coach, James Franklin, who took the Virginia Tech job this offseason.

Mizzou’s quarterback situation entering 2026 now includes Austin Simmons, who is transferring into the program from Ole Miss, and Matt Zollers, who re-signed with the program for his sophomore season.
