ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - Cardinals great Yadier Molina will be joining the Cardinals front office, the team announced Wednesday.
Molina will be a special assistant to President of Baseball Operations Chaim Bloom, advising the front office, helping the coaching staff and catchers.
Molina was a 10-time All Star, 11-time gold-glove winner and the only player in MLB history to catch 2,00 games or more for one team. He retired after the 2022 season.
Molina briefly returned to the Cards dugout in 2025 as a guest coach and managed Criollos de Caguas in Puerto Rico.
