ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - St. Louis CITY SC wrapped up its first training camp in Bradenton, Florida with a 2-2 draw against Tampa Bay Rowdies.

CITY’s two goals came from Sangbin Jeong and new acquisition Rafael Santos.

“The guys worked really hard the past 10 days,” said Coach Yoann Damet. “Very happy with the work, very happy with the mentality. Guys have been very open-minded, getting uncomfortable, pushing themselves. So, that’s positive. I think we got a lot of work done, physically, but also tactically. So, I’m happy about the direction we’re heading.”

The club will return home to spend a few days training before heading out to Palm Springs, California, in February for the Coachella Invitational and a couple of closed-door friendlies.

Its next match will be on February 4 against the Portland Timbers.
