ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The St. Louis Senior Olympics has rebranded as the St. Louis Legends Games for 2026.

According to event organizers, the rebrand reflects a shift in how those age 50 and older see themselves and removes language that no longer resonates with many participants.

The St. Louis Legends Games will take place across St. Louis in May (St. Louis Legends Games)

“People in their 50s and beyond are active, working, and engaged,” said Stephanie Rhea, St. Louis Legends Games Coordinator at the J. “The Legends Games celebrate lifelong, healthy, active living and the power of community.”

The St. Louis Legends Games will bring together hundreds of athletes from across the region for various competitive, recreational and social opportunities designed to support wellness at differing ability levels.

The St. Louis Legends Games will take place from May 16 through May 31 throughout the St. Louis area. Registration to participate opens on March 2.
