ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Clayton High School has reached its first MSHSAA Final Four since 1975.

Led by head coach Sumner Ahearn, the Greyhounds beat Dexter 77-54 in the Class 4 Quarterfinal on Saturday.

A 2010 Clayton graduate, Sumner took the Hounds to back-to-back quarterfinal appearances. His uncle, Danny Ahearn, was behind the bench in the bleachers to witness the win — Danny was part of that 1975 team.

Sports on 4’s Tamar Sher interviewed Sumner and Danny Ahearn after the game.
