KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Chiefs have a number of positions to fill with offseason departures, including a second-string quarterback. That has now been filled, according to multiple reports.
The Kansas City Chiefs have acquired quarterback Justin Fields in a trade with the New York Jets, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.
The Chiefs are sending a 2027 sixth-round pick to New York in the trade, Rapoport stated.
Fields is due $10 million this year, and the Jets are reportedly paying a large portion of his salary, according to Rapoport.
