ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - St. Louis CITY SC defeated FC Tulsa 4-0 Wednesday night in the U.S. Open Cup Round of 32.
St. Louis took a 2-0 lead into the half following goals by Marcel Harrtel and Sangbin Jeong. Jeong’s goal was assisted by Roman Bürki, who earned his first career U.S. Open Cup assist and third overall career assist.
CITY SC added two more goals in the second half.
The first came from a free kick by Mykhi Joyner in the 61st minute. And the second off the foot of Tomás Ostrák in the 78th minute. Both scored their first goals in 2026.
St. Louis will now move on to the Round of 16 in the U.S. Open Cup, facing Chicago Fire on the road.

CITY will return to MLS action this Saturday to face Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field. Kick-off is set for 8:30 p.m.
