KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Royals announced on Wednesday morning that they will build their new stadium and ballpark district in the Crown Center district.
The Royals, along with Hallmark Cards, stated the project will bring a “world-class ballpark, surrounding mixed-use development and reimagined headquarters for both iconic institutions at Crown Center.”
The development will span 85 acres, include a central square with fountains, more than 20,000 construction jobs and an expected private investment of more than $2 billion.
Below are renderings the team shared of the stadium project.
