Five Blues named to 2026 IIHF World Championship rosters

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - Five St. Louis Blues players have been named to their countries’ rosters for the 2026 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship.

Forwards Dylan Holloway and Robert Thomas will represent Canada. Oskar Sundqvist and goalie prospect Love Harenstam will take the ice for Sweden. Pius Suter will play for Team Switzerland.

The tournament is set to run from May 15–31 in Fribourg and Zurich, Switzerland.

Holloway has represented Canada three times, including the 2021 U-20 World Junior Championship. Thomas has represented Canada twice previously, including the 2018 U-20 World Junior Championship.

Sundqvist has represented Sweden at the 2014 U-20 World Junior Championship, where he helped the team capture the silver medal.

The 19-year-old Harenstam was drafted by the Blues in the 2025 NHL Draft. In 2025-26, he played for Sodertalje SK, and has helped Team Sweden to a gold-medal victory over Czechia at the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship in January.

Suter has represented Switzerland at numerous international events, including the 2017 and 2022 WC and the 2018 and 2026 Winter Olympics.
