Airbnb offering free FIFA World Cup tickets with select Kansas City stays

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - World Cup fans who book a select Airbnb stay in Kansas City could score free FIFA Match tickets.

Airbnb announced on Wednesday, June 10, that select stays in Kansas City will include free FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets as part of a tournament-wide initiative spanning all 16 host cities.

Listings with free tickets will feature a soccer ball icon at the top of the listing page, and tickets are included for each guest in the party, according to the service.

Airbnb noted that stays average $385 per night. Hosts and guests across all host cities will receive more than 1,300 free tickets throughout the tournament - including hundreds in Kansas City alone.

Some guests who have already booked during the Group Stage will also receive surprise tickets, Airbnb added.

When to search for Kansas City listings

Airbnb said it will release ticket-included homes in waves, aligned with tournament stages:

  • Group Stage & Knockout Round of 32 - Available now (June 10), including Kansas City
  • Round of 16 - Available June 18
  • Quarterfinals - Available July 1, including Kansas City
  • Semifinals - Available July 9
  • FIFA World Cup Final - Available July 16

To find a listing, the service said to search for stays on match dates on Airbnb.com. Look for the soccer ball icon on the listing page.

Once a booking is confirmed, the host will share details on how to access the tickets.
