ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The St. Louis Cardinals announced Thursday they have promoted Memphis Redbirds RHP Max Rajcic, and RHP Chris Roycroft was designated for assignment.
Rajcic posted a 4-2 record with 2.88 ERA in 26 appearances with the Redbirds. He arrives as the Redbirds’ current saves leader with five in six opportunities.
The 24-year-old is the Cardinals’ reigning Minor League Pitcher of the Month for May 2026.
Rajcic would be the Cardinals’ third pitcher to be called up to make his Major League debut this season.
He will wear No. 71.
