ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The Blues are sending Jordan Kyrou east.
In a trade announced Tuesday, the Blues are sending Kyrou to the Washington Capitals in exchange for center Connor McMichael, prospect Milton Gastrin and the 16th overall pick in Friday’s NHL draft.
The trade closes the chapter on Kyoru’s career in St. Louis. Over eight seasons, he recorded 378 points (168 goals and 210 assists). He had been the subject of recent trade rumors.
McMichael, 25, played in 78 games for Washington in 2025-2026, recording 14 goals and 32 assists. He has played six seasons in Washington DC.
Gastrin, 19, plays for MoDo of the Swedish Hockey League; he recorded 10 goals and 14 assists last season. The Capitals drafted him 37th overall in the 2025 draft.
