ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker has been announced as one of the contestants in this year’s Home Run Derby!
Walker is currently sitting at 21 home runs for the year, which is tied for fifth in the National League.
He will be joined by eight other players in the competition. Walker is the fifth contestant to be announced by MLB.
The other four that have been announced thus far are:
Willson Contreras, Red Sox - 20 Home Runs

Jac Caglianone, Royals - 14 Home Runs
Ben Rice, Yankees - 26 Home Runs
Junior Caminero, Rays - 26 Home Runs
The 2026 Home Run Derby will take place on July 13 at 7 p.m.
