ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The Blues have signed newly acquired forward Connor McMichael to a six-year contract extension, the team announced Thursday.
The club acquired McMichael from the Washington Capitals in a trade for Jordan Kyrou on June 23. The contract has an average annual value of $6.75 million, the Blues said.
McMichael, 25, recorded 46 points (14 goals, 32 assists) in 78 games last season. Before the trade, he spent his first six seasons in Washington. DC.
