Cardinals release 2027 season schedule

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The St. Louis Cardinals released their 2027 season schedule Thursday.

The team’s season opener is scheduled for Thursday, March 25, at Cincinnati and continues into a six-game road trip against the Reds and Chicago Cubs.

The Cardinals’ home opener is set for Thursday, April 1, against the Kansas City Royals.

After the Royals series, they will face the San Diego Padres in a home series from April 5-7.

St. Louis will conclude the regular season at home, hosting Milwaukee and Pittsburgh.

The season will also include multiple interleague series, including matchups with the Twins, Blue Jays, Rangers, and Red Sox.

The Cardinals will face their four National League Central division opponents 13 times each—two series versus each opponent both at home and on the road—for a total of 52 games.

There will be five holiday games at Busch Stadium in 2027. Those are: Mother’s Day (May 9 vs. Milwaukee), Memorial Day (May 31 vs. Pittsburgh), Juneteenth (June 19 vs. Cincinnati), Father’s Day (June 20 vs. Cincinnati) and Labor Day (Sept. 6 vs. Houston).

In addition, the Cardinals will play holiday road games on Easter (March 28 at Cincinnati) and Independence Day (July 4 at Chicago Cubs). The Cardinals will play at San Diego on Jackie Robinson Day (April 15), host the Pittsburgh Pirates on Lou Gehrig Day (June 2), and visit the Pittsburgh Pirates on Roberto Clemente Day (Sept. 15).

Announcements regarding game times, ticket pricing and ticket availability for the 2027 season will come at a later date.
