ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The Cardinals have made a trade inside the division to get some relief help.
Just before the trade deadline on Monday, the Redbirds acquired lefthander Caleb Ferguson from the Cincinnati Reds. The Cardinals are sending international bonus money to the Reds.
Ferguson, 30, has spent most og his eight-year career with the Los Angeles Dodgers, he also has played for the Reds, Pirates, Yankees, Mariners and Astros.
So far in 2026, he has appeared in 26 games with a 1-0 record, a 4.01 ERA and 1 save.
