KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - From the time of its construction until the 2020s, the home of the Chiefs was called Arrowhead Stadium. Then, for five seasons, the team called the venue GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
Going forward? It’s Arrowhead Stadium.
The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Wednesday that its beloved home venue will drop GEHA from the title. GEHA, which stands for Government Employees Health Association, will remain a partner with the organization, including the chiefs Military Mission.
“G.E.H.A is a tremendous partner and this mutual decision reflects a shared commitment to honoring the rich history of Arrowhead Stadium and the Chiefs organization,” Chiefs president Mark Donovan said. “We are thrilled to continue working with G.E.H.A on all of the key community, military, and veteran-focused programs that they have helped us bring to life over the years.”

For its final five seasons, Arrowhead Stadium will continue with its original name. Then in 2031, the team moves to Kansas, where it will construct a domed stadium in Wyandotte County.
According to Pro Football Reference, the Chiefs are 257-164-1 all-time at Arrowhead, and 14-8 in the postseason.
