ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The Cardinals will once again be primarily wearing blue caps when playing on the road.
The team made the announcement on social media Tuesday.

The Cardinals wore navy caps as part of their road uniform from 1992-2012. The Redbirds then started wearing red caps on the road unless the opponent’s uniform had red as a primary color.
The Cardinals will first wear the blue caps when they visit Wrigley Field for a weekend series against the Cubs starting August 14.
