Camp Notes: Bieniemy to speak with media for first time since wife’s shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Chiefs hit the practice fields in St. Joseph for another morning of training camp on Tuesday.

Offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is expected to speak with the media after practice, his first time doing so since his wife, Mia, was shot and injured at their home in Virginia on July 26.

Police arrested Bieniemy’s son, 27-year-old Elijah Bieniemy, after the shooting.

Running back Brashard Smith, linebacker Jeffrey Bassa and defensive end Ashton Gillotte will also hold media availability.
