ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - St. Louis CITY SC is acquiring midfielder Charles-Émile Brunet on loan from Nashville SC through the end of the 2026 season.

In exchange, Nashville will receive $50,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM), with CITY SC holding a permanent trade option at the loan’s conclusion.

“Adding Charles gives us some depth in the midfield as we head into the final stretch of the season,” said Corey Wray. “He’s a technical, young player who can contribute on both sides of the ball and provide some versatility to our group. We’re excited to bring him in and see how he can contribute.”

The 22-year-old Montreal, Brunet-native was selected by Nashville SC in the third round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.

Since then, he has suited up seven times across all competitions this season.
