ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The ‘Tarps Off’ crew will return to Busch Stadium for the final St. Louis Cardinals homestand this weekend.
In May, 17 players from the Stephen F. Austin club baseball team attended the Cardinals-Royals game after the Cardinals offered them tickets. During the game, the group took off and waved their shirts while they sang, even getting other fans and Fredbird to join.
‘Tarps Off’ then took social media storm, with fans across the country joining the movement.
For the final St. Louis Cardinals homestand of the year, the original ‘Tarps Off’ crew is slated to return to Busch Stadium.
To celebrate the ‘Tarps Off’ return, the St. Louis Cardinals are offering $10 tickets when TARPSOFF is texted to 82810.
The final homestand is Friday through Sunday when the Cardinals take on the Nationals.
