ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The St. Louis Cardinals announced that rookie infielder JJ Wetherholt has been activated from the 10-day Injured List.
Wetherholt has been sidelined with right wrist tendinitis since August 30.
In 130 games this season, Wetherholt has hit .242 with 14 doubles, 17 home runs and 48 RBI. He has scored 88 runs and stolen 14 bases.

He will return to his leadoff role in the Cardinals’ lineup today against the San Francisco Giants.
This will be the first time he’s played against the Giants.
