ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - St. Louis CITY SC has traded a 2026 International roster slot to FC Cincinnati in exchange for a guaranteed $200,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM).
GAM can be used to help teams buy down player salary budget charges and build deeper rosters.
An international roster slot can be used to sign a foreign or non-domestic player who does not hold a green card, citizenship, or specific exempt status.
CITY SC will face Toronto FC at home this Saturday, September 19, at at 7:30 p.m.
