KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A pair of starters on the Kansas City Chiefs offense were non-participants in the opening practice of the week as Kansas City prepares for the Seattle Seahawks.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said wide receiver Rashee Rice (hamstring) and right tackle Jaylon Moore (concussion) would not practice Wednesday as the team begins its on-field preparation for a ‘Sunday Night Football’ matchup with the defending champions.
Rice injured his hamstring in the first quarter of a Week 4 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Moore suffered a concussion during Kansas City’s Week 6 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

With Rice out of the lineup against the Chargers, Andrew Armstrong and Justin Watson were elevated from the practice squad. Armstrong played the vast majority of snaps, and rookie fifth-round pick Cyrus Allen also saw an uptick in work.
When Moore was not on the field against Los Angeles, Kansas City went to Josh Ezeudu as its right tackle. Ezeudu was acquired from the New York Giants in a preseason trade.
