Iowa commit, Iose Epenesa, helps lead Edwardsville to Illinois 8A playoffs

EDWARDSVILLE (First Alert 4) -- High school football playoffs begin this weekend in both Missouri and Illinois. The Edwardsville Tigers will travel to play York on Friday, the team that ended their season a year ago.

This Tigers team is led by a large group of seniors, most notably Iose Epenesa. Epenesa is a 5-star defensive end that will play college football at Iowa. The Epenesa family has a tradition of football success. Iose’s father, Eppy, played college football at Iowa. His oldest brother, AJ, plays for the Buffalo Bills and his other brother Eric currently plays for the Hawkeyes.
