‘I wanted my last year to be at home’: Kevin Coleman Jr. talks about his decision to transfer to Mizzou

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Mizzou football turned to the transfer portal when looking to add depth to their receiving corps. St. Mary’s alum Kevin Coleman Jr. transferred to Mizzou from Mississippi State.  

“I wanted my last year to be at home,” Coleman said. “I saw a lot of local guys from Mississippi, what it meant for them to play for their home state. Coming home, I just wanted to put on for my city, put on for this state, my last year.” 

Coleman sat down with Sports on 4′s Tamar Sher to discuss why he chose to come home and keep the St. Louis to Mizzou pipeline alive.
