On Wednesday, CITY beat the Chicago Fire 2-1 in the tournament’s round of 16. The win was led by midfielder Edu Lowen, who had an assist & a goal in the game.
Next up, CITY is preparing to visit Austin FC as they return to MLS play on Sunday.
St. Louis is currently one spot behind Austin FC in the standings, sitting in 14th place in the Western Conference with six points on the season.
