‘Tarps Off’ section returning to Busch Stadium for Tuesday’s game

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - A group of college players in the right-field seats who took social media by storm during the weekend’s St. Louis Cardinals games will return to Busch Stadium on Tuesday.
Stephen F. Austin club baseball team, known as the Lumberjacks, was in the area to play in Alton for the National Baseball Division II World Series.
On Friday night, 17 players attended the Cardinals-Royals game after the Cardinals offered them tickets. During the game, the group took off and waved their shirts while they sang, even getting other fans and Fredbird to join.
After the game, Cardinals Manager Oliver Marmol bought tickets for the weekend games so fans could continue the shirtless revelry.
On Monday, Sports on 4’s Tamar Sher reported that the Lumberjacks would be back at Busch Stadium on Tuesday night to lead the “Tarps Off” section one last time.
The Cardinals will play the Pirates at Busch Stadium on Tuesday with the first pitch scheduled for 6:45 p.m.
This Friday, Cardinals fans can watch them face the Cincinnati Reds for free on First Alert 4 and Matrix Midwest (over-the-air channel 32 and Spectrum channel 6). First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
