ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Missouri Department of Transportation is warning Missouri Tigers fans to plan ahead if heading to Columbia for Saturday’s game against the Texas A&M Aggies.

Drivers on Interstate 70 should plan for extra time when traveling through work zones. The department listed the following areas for potential travel impacts:

  • A single lane closure on westbound Interstate 70 between Interstate 64 and Foristell from 8 p.m. on Friday until 6 a.m. on Saturday.
  • Single lane closures in both directions of Interstate 70 between Callaway County Route M and Kingdom City, both Friday and Saturday, from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m.
  • From 7 p.m. on Friday until 7 a.m. on Saturday, a lane closure on westbound Interstate 70 between St. Charles Road and Callaway County Route J.

MoDOT suggests drivers leave early and allow for extra time, as increased traffic could cause additional delays before and after games.
