ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - SLU head men’s basketball coach Josh Schertz sits down with Sports on 4’s Tamar Sher - talking NCAA Tournament, his contract extension, his relationship with A-10 Player of the Year Robbie Avila and more.
The Billikens are dancing for the first time since 2019, the 11th time in program history. It’s the first time Schertz is heading to the Division I NCAA Tournament in his coaching career.
No. 9 SLU will face No. 8 Georgia in Buffalo, N.Y. in the first round on Thursday, March 19 at 8:45 p.m. CDT on First Alert 4.
